The buyer: Beyond Housing
The Contractor(s) shall manage the waste received from Beyond Housing Ltd under the Service in an effective, efficient, environmentally, and economically sustainable manner. The Services provided by the Contractor(s) in respect of all waste accepted by the Contractor shall: Ensure that Beyond Housing’s statutory obligations are fulfilled in terms of the Environment Protection Act (1990) and as amended under the Environment Act 2021 and the Waste (England and Wales) Regulations 2011 (and Waste (England and Wales) Regulations (Amendment) 2014). Support the further reduction in annual quantities of municipal residual waste requiring disposal through the application of appropriate recycling and recovery processes. Increase the proportion of Municipal Waste from Beyond Housing sent for recycling. Divert materials for reprocessing using the proximity principle, with materials being reprocessed within the UK as a priority, elsewhere within the EU only if not possible within the UK,
The selected waste management service provider MUST be responsible for the following services in LOT 1: • Provision of Three Direct Delivery tipping sites: • Establishment of three waste Tipping Sites and weighbridge facilities• one Tipping Site (TS) to facilitate waste arising from Beyond Housing’s operations in the Redcar area; • one TS to facilitate waste arising from Beyond Housing’s operations in the Scarborough area;• and one TS to facilitate waste arisings from Beyond Housing’s operations in the Whitby area, as designated by Beyond Housing Ltd.
The selected waste management service for WEE waste only. The provider MUST be responsible for the following services in LOT 2: • Provision of Three Direct Delivery Tipping Sites: • Establishment of three waste Tipping Sites and weighbridge facilities;• one Tipping Site (TS) to facilitate waste arising from Beyond Housing’s operations in the Redcar area; • one TS to facilitate waste arising from Beyond Housing’s operations in the Scarborough area• and one TS to facilitate waste arisings from Beyond Housing’s operations in the Whitby area, as designated by Beyond Housing Ltd.
The selected waste management service provider MUST be responsible for the following services in LOT 3: Provision of one Direct Delivery Tipping Site: • Establishment of one waste Tipping Site with weighbridge facilities to facilitate waste arising from Beyond Housing’s operations in the Redcar area, as designated by Beyond Housing Ltd. • Availability of a weighbridge adjacent to the Tipping Site to accurately measure the weight of waste delivered by the customer.
The selected waste management service provider shall be responsible for the following services in LOT 4. Provision of two Direct Delivery Tipping Sites: • Establishment of two waste Tipping Sites.• one TS to facilitate waste arising from Beyond Housing’s operations in the Scarborough area. • and one TS to facilitate waste arisings from Beyond Housing’s operations in the Whitby area, as designated by Beyond Housing Ltd.
Provision of three Direct Delivery Tipping Sites: • Establishment of three waste Tipping Sites, Establishment of three waste Tipping Sites and weighbridge facilities.• one Tipping Site (TS) to facilitate waste arising from Beyond Housing’s operations in the Redcar area.• one TS to facilitate waste arising from Beyond Housing’s operations in the Scarborough area.• and one TS to facilitate waste arisings from Beyond Housing’s operations in the Whitby area, as designated by Beyond Housing Ltd
The selected waste management service provider shall be responsible for the following services in LOT 6: • Provision of Skip and Bin Facilities at Beyond Housing's two Depots (in Redcar and in Scarborough): • Supply and placement of appropriately sized and labelled skips and bins at Beyond Housing's depots in Redcar and Scarborough for separate collection of the specified waste streams.
The selected waste management service provider shall be responsible for the following services in LOT 7: • Provision of Skip and Bin Facilities at Beyond Housing's Depot in Scarborough: • Supply and placement of appropriately sized and labelled skips and bins at Beyond Housing's depot in Scarborough for separate collection of the specified waste streams. Provision of Skip and Bin Facilities at Beyond Housing's Site at Larpool Lane in Whitby: • Supply and placement of appropriately sized and labelled skips and bins at Beyond Housing's site in Whitby (Larpool Lane) for separate collection of the specified waste streams.
